Transactions and Transfers

When a Customer has a connected external account in the Rize Sandbox, assets can be transferred from the external account to any of the Customer’s Synthetic Accounts.

For Customers onboarded into the Checking Account Product, we recommend you test the following Transfers and then view the underlying Transactions, Transaction Events, and Synthetic Line Items created as a result:

  • from the Synthetic Account of category External to the Primary Synthetic Account
  • from the Primary Synthetic Account to the Synthetic Account of category External

For Customers with the Target Yield Account Product, Transfers to or from the Synthetic Accounts of category Target Yield Account result in a simulated purchase or sale of assets. With the Target Yield Product, the user performs transfers in USD but the asset trades do not have a 1:1 relationship to USD. The following assets and asset distributions will be used when a Transfer involves one of these Synthetic Accounts:

  • The Target Yield Synthetic Accounts are made up of the following 4 assets: HYEM, MMU, PULS, USD
  • USD transferred into this account is distributed evenly (25%) across all 4 assets (e.g., a $10 transfer into the account will result in a $2.50 USD increase across all 4 assets).
  • Transfers out of this fund result in an equivalent sell across all assets (e.g., a $10 transfer out of the account will result in a $2.50 USD decrease across all 4 assets).

Transfers to or from the Target Yield Synthetic Accounts do not settle instantly. These transfers will settle once daily to mimic production behavior.
